The story centers on Master Chief, who is a cybernetically-enhanced, but human protagonist who spearheads the fight against humanities alien enemy known as the Covenant.
Known primarily for it's assistance in the gigantic success with the Xbox video game console, it's original release is credited to Mac and personal computers. What was once envisioned as a Real Time Shooter, the idea was quickly scrapped in favor the First Person Shooter theme. The public got it's initial look at the title at the MacWorld '99 conference.
