World of Warcraft and Celebrities that Play Them

By Glenn P Griffin

Online gaming has been the forefront of entertainment for the present generation. Gaming online offers a form of entertainment that is both fun and sociable.

There is one particular game that stands out from all the rest, and that is World of Warcraft. Since its initial release in the mid 90's, this game has created a community of crazed fans all over the globe.

As famous as Warcraft is, being a player of the game can have its downside. Being a WoW fan means being categorized into particular stereotypes.

WoW players are often portrayed as being geeks, terribly out of shape, have acne, and never been on a date.

These are of course, nothing more than unfounded stereotypes to lump online gamers into an undesirable set of traits. I want to prove these stereotypes false by listing some of the hottest celebrities today that are all avid Warcraft players. Believe me, there are nothing nerdy about these celebrities.

Other than being smoking hot, what else do Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson have in relation? They are both WoW players! Another amazingly hot actress that plays World of Warcraft is Mila Kunis. You may know her as the voice of Meg in the popular animated cartoon "Family Guy", and as the vixen Jackie in "That 70's Show".

I can't neglect the male celebrities. I must add that Vin diesel is a Warcraft player. Just a take a look at his rock hard physique and you will see that there is nothing nerdy about him.

What about Matt Stone and Trey Parker? Aside from creating one of the most controversial yet popular cartoon, South Park, these two are also players of Warcraft.

I can't forget to mention Dave Chapelle. The comedian with one of the best selling DVDs of all time is among the list of celebrity Warcraft players.

With a little research of your own, you can probably find an even greater list of celebrity Warcraft players. The point is for you to realize that Warcraft is for everyone regardless of any false stigma you may have been lead to believe. If you love to play Warcraft, you shouldn't be ashamed of it because of some stupid stereotypes that aren't even the least bit true.
