Many games have been released in the last years and the worst news in regards to this is that starting from 2003, only games that focused on graphics were released and too few were the ones that had a nice story the player could delve into and feel like he is a part of it.
When I saw that this was happening, I was really sad and I wanted only to play a game back then that had a nice story, graphics that would be enough for the time and that was kind of it. Yeah, the games at that time were really lame and it continued to be like that for a few years, but when left for dead was released for the first time, it really had things changed. It is the only zombie game out there that practically makes me feel connected to it.
When I am personally playing this game, I get the feeling that I am really into the game and that I am the one that is struggling to stay alive in it, not the character and for me, this is really something that no other game can make me feel. In regards to the engine, it was built on the Half Life engine if my memory is still good and the company is of course, Valve, the one responsible for creating one of the best shooters in the world: Half Life.
I played the first l4d with passion and when I heard that there is also a sequel on its way, I was really impressed and wanted to check it out as soon as possible. So in the game, you will be released in a world that is full of zombies and you will need to make your way through them and survive in the end.
The weapons that I loved to play most with are the melee weapons. The chainsaw is one of my favorite weapons and I used it in order to cut the lamers that were surrounding me and damn it was a nice feeling. It is something that cannot be equaled by anything else and if you want to know how it feels, just play the game man.
You will also be bale to use other weapons, like the katana for instance. I have a friend that is playing with it only and he is really good with it. Other nice weapons that you will be able to use are a pan, nightstick, machete and a guitar.
One more thing is that the graphics have also been improved. So l4d3 definitely looks amazing.
