How to Make WOW Gold Crafting Items Without a Crafting Profession

By Latoyia Moya

Gathering is the fastest way to make WOW gold in the online game WOW, sooner than both crafting and farming items. When I figure this out, I am able to make 80 - 100 gold per hour.

Most of the players be able to get the items they need or want at once, so they are more likely to go to the Auction House (AH) and pay for what they want directly rather than accumulate mats for the item and ask or wait until a crafter advertises their services in trade chat. Then, this is your chance to make Gold for World of Warcraft.

For mining, there are 2 different areas mines will pop up inside a given area. Once you learn where each of those mines, you can farm them really quickly. Don't presume to farm the whole zone, just pick a small area which you can keep going around. If you know the area you are farming your first mine should pop by the time you are done with the last one. Then you just repeat until you have enough stacks to mail. I usually bind at the nearest Inn where I am farming, when I have 3 or 4 stacks, I use my hearthstone, smelt the ore into bars and mail the bars in an alt in the auction house. Don't try to market just the ore merely as nobody will buy it, you should smelt first.

First, keep watching the trade chat for the particular items players want. This will usually be immediate consumables (potions, flasks) or intermittent consumables (gear, gear enhancements). Record the items which are frequently requested. Then, check the items on the AH for ones selling amount and general price. Keep watching the price for a few days or weeks to know the average price. Make a report of every single crafted item that sells well and also the mats required to create that item. If you don't have a crafting profession, you may more likely have a gathering profession. Players should have a gathering profession because this will maximize their gold profits by reducing the cost of the mats needed to craft the items that sold well. However, you can't have all gathering professions, and some mats (cloth, for example) don't need a gathering profession- so you have to check the costs of the base mats for the crafted products on the AH. A superb tool for checking prices and listing auctions on the auction house is the add-on, Auctioneer.

After you list for profit in the AH, do not list all of your products at once. Based on demand and the total amount of active auctions, you should only list among the 1 and 5 of your item. This could preserve the perception of rarity (which keeps the pricing high) and will prevent the crafters of that item which DO sell them for the AH from getting angry with you for flooding the market.
