What BMX Games Online Are Out There

By Simon Smith

If you are a fan of bicycles and tricks then BMX games that are available online for free might be just what you are looking for. There are multiple websites that offer bicycle stunt riding in various locations ranging from street courses, to tricks performed off of ramps, and half pipe courses.

There are multiple websites that have bicycle stunt adventures available to play. All the adventures are free of charge and one can even link their scores to Facebook now. The best way to find the right one that you are looking for is to type in BMX game in a search engine like Google. From there you will gain access to numerous free sites that offer all sorts of flash game entertainment for free.

Flash entertainment graphics are generally in a storyboard type of setting meaning that the character is seen from a side angle instead of rear or above view. When it comes to controls they are standard across all the games. The up, down, left and right directional keys are most commonly used. Some variations have been introduced with the use of other keys.

During my time of playing consoles and computers I have seen quite a few different formats come and go. To name a few the Atari console, the Nintendo entertainment system, and the Playstation 3. The graphics have grown and advanced so much since the early days. Flash programs are no different and so I decided to check some of the BMX stunt adventures that are available today. Below are the programs that were especially entertaining.

Street Ride is one of the new flash programs on the market and the graphical representations along with user interaction make for a great experience and meld very well together. From the behind the rider view to the range of tricks available, playing this Flash title was quite fun.

In Sik Trix the player gets to skate down the street and pull off tricks from ramps placed along the course. The visual aspect of this particular adventure uses the camera angle of watching the character from a side view so the graphics are somewhat limited. The controls are easy to learn and the game is entertaining overall.

X Rider is based in a half pipe environment similar to the extreme sports events held all around the world. It is a mix of older and newer graphics and the controls are straight forward. The trick is to get the combinations down so you can perform all the stunts. The tricks and the originality of the game make it one to check out.

When playing online bicycle stunt adventures there is a nice one to check out called Stunt Park. The angle of view is seen from above. There are a limited amount of stunts one can perform however they are a bit hard to learn so if you want a challenge then check this one out.

BMX trax is a nice little adventure to check out since it has multiple levels and is fairly easy to get the hang of. The character graphics blend well with the background settings to make an overall pleasant and enjoyable experience.

As graphics technologies advance, Flash technologies will get better and better. With that said BMX games online are going to start contending with other formats of video games that are available.
