The difficult part is to actually make that first step. These types of jobs are not actually advertised in newspapers, an individual would need to get in touch with the companies directly. The purpose being, with a wider number of people testing, the higher the likelihood that any problem that might have been missed will come to light.

A good habit to get into, is to make notes as you progress through the stages. Make sure that these notes are legible, and of a good grammatical standard. If you were to be working from home, be sure that you don't neglect getting these reports back to the game company on time.

Initially it seems as though a game is filled with bug after bug, and the individual may face an uphill struggle to make any headway. Even if it constantly causes crashes, you will be expected to remain focused. All of these bugs and glitches need to be found prior to going into production.
